Walsh Duffield’s Christopher Kempton and Lisa Petronio have joined forces with Strategic Retirement Partners (SRP), a national retirement plan consulting firm. The two currently manage Walsh Duffield’s retirement plan consulting business, and will be focused on growing the existing practice in collaboration with SRP.
As SRP’s Managing Directors for Upstate New York, Kempton and Petronio are the only local advisers who have access to the expanded resources that SRP offers to clients. Upstate New York will be SRP’s fourteenth location nationally. SRP brings a team of specialists who are dedicated to virtually every type of retirement plan, including: 401(k), 403(b), defined benefit pension, ESOP, 457, Taft-Hartley and non-qualified deferred compensation plans.
“We are excited to bring national retirement consulting resources to Western New York,” explained Petronio. “This collaboration will allow us to better serve our local plan fiduciaries and drive better outcomes for retirement plan participants.”
The pair will begin offering their services to Walsh Duffield clients through SRP immediately. Walsh Duffield’s decision to partner with SRP is part of a strategy for growth locally, with the intention of remaining an independently owned insurance agency, as it has been for over 160 years.
